Applicant Privacy Notice
Five Daughters Bakery LLC · last updated 29 September 2026
This notice explains what we do with the information you give us when you apply for a job with Five Daughters Bakery. It covers applications made through careers.fivedaughtersbakery.com. It does not cover our online store or any other part of our business.
What we collect
When you apply, we collect:
- Your name, mobile phone number, and email address if you give one
- The days and shifts you told us you can work
- Your answers to the questions on the application
- Your résumé, if you choose to attach one — attaching one is optional
- Which posting you applied to, and how you found it (for example a QR code in one of our shops)
We count how many times each job posting is viewed, and from which kind of link — without cookies, and without saving your IP address or device details in our database.
Why we collect it
To consider you for the job, to contact you about your application, and to keep a record of our hiring. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for any purpose unrelated to hiring.
Text messages
If you tick the optional texting box on the application, we may text you about your application — a confirmation that we received it, and messages about next steps such as arranging a time to meet. The box is unchecked by default and applying does not require it. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP, and we will not text you again.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with anyone else for marketing purposes. See our text message terms for details of the messaging programme.
Who else sees it
Your application is seen by the small number of people at Five Daughters Bakery who make hiring decisions. We also use service providers who handle information on our behalf and only under our instructions:
- Google Cloud — hosts this site, our database, and any résumé you upload
- Paycor — our HR and applicant tracking system, where we may enter your details if we take your application forward
- Twilio — delivers the text messages described above
- Slack — notifies our hiring team that an application arrived
We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep applications on file so that we can consider you for future openings. We do not delete them on a fixed schedule — if you would like yours removed, ask us and we will delete it. If we hire you, your information moves into our employment records and is kept for as long as the law requires.
Asking us to delete your information
Email careers@fivedaughtersbakery.com and ask us to delete your application. We will do it, and we will confirm when it is done. You can also ask us what we hold about you.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Applications are handled under the notice in force when they were submitted.
